About Me
Austin W. Cortez
I'm a devoted husband and a proud dad to our baby girl. I graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston with a degree in Maritime Transportation. I have spent more than nine years sailing deep sea as a deck officer and now serve as Chief Mate aboard the ATB Galveston. My goal is to serve as a Houston Pilot, and I have completed all five USCG charts for the Houston Ship Channel to get there. At home, you'll find me with my family on the Gulf Coast.
